Some of the Oregon Wildfire Family Fund grant recipients include:

A grant was issued to help area children who will be returning to devastation. Many of the students in the district lost personal items and their homes. A fund was established to replace some of those personal items and create an event that would give the students something to look forward to upon their return to school.
Santiam Canyon School District

$5,000

A grant was issued to help families in Phoenix/Talent who lost property in the wildfires. Target population is families with children enrolled in the area school district.

The BFT Foundation provided “welcome bags” for evacuees arriving at the Beaverton Christian Church site. Bags included basic supplies, toiletries and items for children.

The Milwaukie-Portland Elks Lodge set up an emergency shelter and relief site for families that were evacuated or displaced due to the fires. They were provided food, shelter and basic items. Some families are living on site in the parking lot in RVs and tents. The funds will help those directly impacted by the fires.

La Clinica provides health and wellness services and received a $2,500 grant donation from the wildfire fund. La Clinica serves some of the families and communities most affected by the fires.

The BFT Foundation provided a $1,000 grant to families unable to secure immediate housing after the wildfires. These families were directly in need of short-term housing.
